How a story gets here

We start from a trustworthy source: a university, a public agency, an official statistic or a reputable news outlet. We read the original, check every name, number and date against it, and write a short summary in our own words. Each story links to its source so you can read more.

What we leave out

No politics, crime, violence or gossip. Health stories cover approved treatments or published research and never promise cures; always ask your doctor about your own care.

Pictures

Story pictures are illustrations made with AI and are labelled as such. They are not photos of the event.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the page. Tell us through the contact page.
